Lili (she/her/hers) is a writer, producer, director, choreographer, and actor based in Los Angeles.
She created, produced, and starred in Complete Works, an award-winning indie comedy set in the world of a collegiate Shakespeare competition that premiered on Hulu as a 5-episode, half-hour mini series for Shakespeare’s 450th birthday.
Since Complete Works, she’s been developing new ideas for television and film with her writing/producing partner (and husband!), Joe Sofranko.
In 2017, they wrote and developed The Cut, a dance drama pilot set in a prestigious NYC conservatory, for FOX with 20th Century Fox and McG’s production company, Wonderland Sound & Vision. Here's the link to show's original feel reel.
In 2019, with Netflix, showrunner Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars), executive producers Roth/Kirschenbaum Films and USWNT star Alex Morgan, Lili and Joe sold and developed The Pride, a girls club soccer drama series set in La Jolla. Here's the link to the show's original feel reel.
And in 2021, Lili and Joe had a baby girl. :)
Now, they are developing two new TV series:
142nd Street, a half-hour musical comedy series about a group of musical theatre wannabes living a hundred blocks from their dreams, alongside composer Scott Hoying (Pentatonix). Here’s the feel reel (pw: jawbrato).
and
Rebound, a drama set around a girls high school basketball team in Indiana, with producer Aaron Ryder (Ryder Picture Company).
Lili was born and raised in LA and received her BA in Theatre from USC’s School of Dramatic Arts. She was a 2005 YoungArts Winner in Theatre and a Presidential Scholar in the Arts Nominee.
